The story began In the summer of 2002 as lifechurch began in the backyard of Alex and Marcie Rahill with a group of 30 people who were passionate about creating a church that would make a lasting impact on the Detroit Metro area.

The vision was to reach a community of people by

- living out real and authentic lives

- discovering a real God who brings hope and life change

- finding real life that has meaning and purpose.

Today, lifechurch has seen incredible growth after outgrowing three school locations and seeing many people come to know Jesus, lifechurch is thankful for what we have experienced. However, the story does not end here...

Our goal and prayer is to be part of planting several new churches in the next 10 years, beginning with our first church plant, lifechurch Southfield, in May of 2011. This is a God-sized task and will only happen through fervent prayer to Him, and provision and power from Him. We encourage you to consider joining us on this adventure.
