LIFE 2 THE NEXT LEVEL

L2NL Update - June 2012

Renovations are well underway.

As you may have noticed, a significant portion of the interior construction on Phase 2 is now complete.

  • Our administrative offices have moved across the street, which has opened up nearly 4,000 square feet for youth and kids ministry space. (This includes the great new youth room for our LifeStudents).
  • Our lobby area has been widened and our café area exapanded, making transition times between services feel much less congested.
  • Very recently, we’ve moved our sound booth to the second floor in anticipation of building our new balcony (Our 150-seat balcony will begin construction in early June and should be complete by the end of the summer).
  • A new canopy over the front doors of our main entrance will also be constructed during this time frame.

    • As the balcony is being constructed, the back third of the auditorium will be blocked off by a temporary wall during the summer months. Because this will result in a short-term loss of seating, we'd love to encourage you to consider attending our first (9:00am) or third (12:30pm) service during this time. This small act of service will result in a better worship experience for everyone.

    Our other big challenge this summer will be parking. We are currently waiting for the additional permits needed from Wayne County, which is expected to come through sometime mid-Summer. Construction on our new 250 parking spaces will begin shortly thereafter, and should be complete in the early Fall.

    To all of you who have faithfully given and sacrificed for L2NL, I want to extend a very heartfelt thank you.

    Thank you for your roll in changing the lives of entire families. Thank you for being part of leaving a legacy, an eternal mark on countless lives.

    We are now at the half way point, or 18 months, into the 3 year campaign. Financialy, we are slightly behind where we would like to be based off of the original commitments offered to L2NL. That being said, we know that "God will meet all (our) needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19) and thank Him in advance for what He is doing and will do in the next 18 months going forward.

    We are praying that people who have begun attending LifeChurch after November of 2010 (when L2NL began) will see the life change occuring and take the initive to get involved. Any financial sacrifice or commitment offered will enable us to make more room for newcomers, just as the sacrifices of those who came before them allow there to be more room for others.

    We’re also praying for the families and individuals who have been unable to fulfill their initial commitments for various financial reasons. We know that times have been hard for many, but we also know that we serve a big God who is able bless in provide in unusual and unexpected ways as we learn to trust Him with our finances (Malachi 3:10).
