Learn how you can use your gifts to serve both God and others through a ministry at LifeChurch. You can get started by trying one of our First Serve opportunities.
WHAT IS A FIRST SERVE?
At LifeChurch, you will regularly hear our vision statement: Know, Grow, Go. The “Go” portion is best described as faith in action. After coming to Know Jesus, we want to help you Grow in your relationship with Him, and then Go serve others. We have many different opportunities to serve at LifeChurch – we’d love to get you connected.
At LifeChurch, we offer something called a First Serve. When signing up for a First Serve, you can “try out” a volunteer role to see if it’s something you enjoy. There is no commitment required, and you can try different opportunities to see what you enjoy most. Below, you can learn more about the different First Serve opportunities available. To sign up for one or to request more information, please contact Kate Buckner.

SERVE IN LIFE KIDS
We’re all about kids – from welcoming new families, to teaching kids the basics about God, to enabling them to make their own commitment to Christ and finding out what that means for their lives. If you have been attending LifeChurch at least six months, we have opportunities to serve on the frontline with the kids, or in a variety of supporting roles that enable ministry to happen.
Director of LifeKids: Sarah Canfield
SERVE IN LIFE STUDENTS
The LifeStudents ministry exists to help students become fully devoted followers of Jesus, to KNOW and experience God, to GROW in their faith, and to GO into the world to make an eternal impact.
If you have a growing commitment to Christ and a heart to care for students, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining our LifeStudents family.
Youth Director: Steve Kerr
SERVE ON THE SET UP / TEAR DOWN TEAM
The Setup/Teardown teams help prepare the multipurpose room and building for use during our weekend services, allowing those ministries to help others come to KNOW God, GROW in their relationships with Him, and GO and serve others for Him.
Team Leader: Mike Rice
SERVE WITH LIFE GROUPS / PASTORAL CARE
Our LifeGroups and Pastoral Care teams help care for the members of LifeChurch. Our LifeGroup leaders either direct or host small group Bible studies, while our pastoral care teams can serve in numerous ways (including but not limited to delivering meals or participating in the prayer team).
LifeGroups Pastor: Johnny Aho
Pastoral Care: Ron Wrightson
SERVE WITH WORSHIP ARTS
The Worship Arts team is multifaceted, with each person offering differing skill sets to help creatively express who God is and helping others come to KNOW Him. It’s through that expression of who God is that we can begin to GROW more like Him. The creative collaboration within this team is also responsible for preparing the media used to communicate future series at LifeChurch, enabling others to then GO and share about what God is doing within our community. We have numerous ways to get involved, so if you’d like to use your talents or passions to serve God in a creative manner, we want to hear from you!
